The BASIS Diploma prepares students to actively participate in the dynamic 21st century world. Our graduates are educated to be independent and resourceful problem solvers, and to be persistent in the face of challenges. BASIS diploma graduates leave school having developed a love of learning and the ability to pursue any intellectual or professional path they choose.
BASIS Curriculum Schools define opportunity and success for our students in GLOBAL terms. We commit to teaching our students to the highest global standards so they are prepared to attend the best universities in the world, and to achieve unlimited success and happiness in their futures.
We teach our students to achieve MASTERY of foundational academic knowledge and skills, because we believe that this mastery will empower their lives and careers.
We have a course of study that is CONNECTED through every grade level, starting with a student’s first preschool lessons, and ending with grade 12 Capstone courses and Senior Projects. Each academic year builds upon the previous year, and serves as preparation for the upcoming years. Our curriculum is carefully developed so that, in every subject and at every grade level, students are learning at the highest global standards and are excited by their learning.
Our students will discover diverse PERSPECTIVES within their lessons and examine them through informed and supportive thought and inquiry. By engaging with a variety of global perspectives, our students are empowered to make their own decisions about how they will navigate the world.
From our earliest days, BASIS Curriculum Schools have been committed to the network-wide use of student performance data. We hold ourselves ACCOUNTABLE to this data, and use the insights to continuously improve learning outcomes for our students.
